This planter’s chair features a contoured design with a sloped back and low seat for superior comfort.

This plantation chair is made from reclaimed teak - inspired by the wabi-sabi tradition, which finds beauty in the unique patina of repurposed and or aged wood.

This reclaimed teak planter's chair is suitable for outdoor use, and would traditionally be enjoyed on the verandas of British India to relax and take it the tropical surroundings.

We will deliver this teak plantation chair to you fully assembled for your convenience.

For additional style and comfort, a matching cushion is available (not included, available separately).

All our teak furniture is checked and issued with SVLK certification to state that it has been legally harvested and can be sold in any EU country.

EU Timber Regulations (EUTR) 995/2010 prohibit illegally harvested timber and timber-based products from being placed onto European markets.

  • Sustainable, recycled, repurposed teak
  • Sourced from old houses, boats, doorframes, etc. or teak roots
  • Robust and resilient
  • Rot, termite and pest-resistant
  • Naturally high in oils and rubber

Reclaimed teak has been seasoned for many years to give an attractive, mature grain and rich colour. It has more graining, nicks and marks, adding character to your furniture and ensuring that each piece is completely unique. It’s extremely solid, strong and distinctively oily to the touch. This high natural oil content makes teak extremely resilient, able to last a lifetime in fact, making rediscovered teak the most sustainable choice for furniture.

We fulfil most of our deliveries with our own vehicle fleet and trained drivers in order to maintain a high level of customer service and to minimise damage in transit. By limiting our deliveries to mainland England, Wales and parts of Scotland on a fortnightly basis, we are able to offer an efficient service to the majority of the population.

However, as a result, we regret that we are unable to deliver offshore islands, Northern Ireland or the Scottish Highlands. For further information, please visit the Deliveries & Returns section of this website or call us on 020 8655 6240.

We may require assistance for our drivers when delivering heavier items of furniture, such as larger benches and tables, or when access to the property is restricted. Smaller items, such as cushions and Teak Care products, will be dispatched via a national delivery service.

What is meant by ‘Pre-Order’?
Pre-ordering means ordering an item that is currently not in stock. The advantage of pre-ordering is that the item is ‘ring-fenced’ for delivery to yourself as soon as it comes in stock.

If a product is temporarily out-of-stock, it will be stated clearly, as the usual ‘Add to Basket’ button will be replaced by a ‘Pre-Order’ button. Additionally, once the item has been selected, a date displayed indicates when the item is scheduled to arrive into our warehouse. We deliver throughout the country, over a 2-week cycle, therefore, depending on your delivery postcode, you should receive your order between 1 to 14 days from the scheduled date.
